A calf with diarrhea: water first; the rest comes later!

Diarrhea is a debilitating disorder that leads to discomfort and delayed growth in calves. In the worst case, it can even result in mortality. Dehydration through diarrhea has a huge influence on the well-being of the calf. Diarrhea prevention is therefore of vital importance and is the keystone to problem-free rearing of successful dairy cows.

How to use

• For additional energy boost and support of the resistance: dissolve 1 tablet in 1 liter of lukewarm water (40°C). Once a day, at least 2 hours after the first feeding.
• At first signs of diarrhea/dehydration: dissolve 2 tablets in 2-liter lukewarm water (40°C). One-time administration instead of milk. Thereafter, start building up milk feedings again.
• Nutrifizz® can be used starting from 3 days from birth until after weaning.
